SPECIAL TRANSPORT

In the case of cargo transportation of larger dimensions and mass we are talking about SPECIAL TRANSPORT or OUT OF GAUGE TRANSPORT (OOG). Special transport services require specialized transport vehicles (semi-lowloader trailer, lowbed , mobile cranes, ...), tailored transport routes and project organization. We are faced with the challenges of transportation of goods / cargo / load using ships (overseas transport), train (rail transport), aircraft (air transport) and specialized road transport vehicles (road transport).

We take the very best of each available transport means. Meaning, the majority of exceptional loads/cargo is transported between continents by sea/ocean with ship transport, since in this case we have fewest possible obstacles.
From ports, we usually use road transport for the transport of exceptional loads/cargo. Rail transport is most suitable for loads of greater weight/mass, but it's not suitable for loads of larger dimensions, as the rail infrastructure is not adjusted (narrow tunnels, ...). Air transport is used for "express" transportation of special loads/cargo.

Our team is specialized in the organization of complex logistic projects from door to door. Clients are able to access the most valuable and up to date information during the project. This way we reduce costs and and thus satisfy our clients.

CARGO PACKAGING

Packing is probably the most important phase in logistics. Goods are transported in wooden boxes (cut wood, OSB, plywood), crates and bases, in cases or containers. For the protection of cargo, additional packing (foil, moisture absorbents) are all custom made to meet the customers’ demand and at the customer’a desired location. Regarding the need we can also provide: Seaworthy packing, Shrink wrap packing, VCI packing and PE packing. To link the logistic chain even further we can organize for container lashing and stuffing, as well.

PROJECT CHARTERING & BROKERAGE

In order to provide the best solution, we have clear insight into the deep sea and coastal chartering with extensive knowledge of vessel types, trades, contracts, ports, and market behavior.

PERMITS & ESCORTS

You need an escort for the transport of exceptional cargo on the entire transport route or just part of it. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain the appropriate permits issued by authorities, for the safe transport of over sized cargo.

With us, you gain:

➞ Appropriate means of transport depending on the type of cargo (lorry with trailer or semi-trailer, wagon, ship, RO-RO, barge, plane ...);

➞ Permits for special transport, civil and police escort on the route, or where necessary;

RELOCATION & ASSEMBLY

When preparing a project we always consider the customer’s needs. We prepare critical assessment, we propose an action plan and timetable of implementation, we carry out the plan and deliver a detailed report.

We are there for you even when you decide for a change. We can assist you with relocation/ moving your production line, disassembling old hardware/ machinery, assembling new one, transporting machinery to new location and other movements you cannot do it, due to the lack of appropriate equipment.
